2. Mix together ¼ cup orange juice and 1 tablespoon of Cointreau and pour over strawberries
3. Refrigerate for up to 8 hours or more, stirring occasionally
4. Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh cream
12 strawberries
¾ cup of strawberry yoghurt
1 scoop of strawberry ice cream
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with extra chopped strawberry pieces if desired.
2 bananas
10-12 fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup of apple juice
Place all ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth and serve chilled.
10 bought mini croissants
100g spreadable cream cheese
1½ tablespoons strawberry jam
250 g of strawberries, hulled, rinsed and sliced
Icing sugar to dust
Using a small serrated knife split each croissant, being careful not to cut all the way through. Spread the cream cheese, then the jam over the bottom half of each croissant. Fill the croissants with the strawberry slices, place on a platter and dust with icing sugar. Croissants can be made up to 1 hour ahead, covered with plastic wrap and stored in the fridge.
